I seem fated to draw stuff that people can liken to a current animation project. I got "Oh, it's like Chicken Run, isn't it?" when originally pitching Frankenchicken and was forced to say on numerous occasions "Well, yes in the sense that it has a chicken in it, but you wouldn't say to someone who was pitching an idea that had a human in it "Oh, that's just like Total Recall, isn't it?"" Naturally, I was wasting my breath, but one must at least try. Now that I'm developing the design for the rats in Frankenchicken, I will inevitably get "Oh, that's just like Ratatouille, isn't it?" Which in itself isn't a terrible thing. I love the look of Ratatouille and am really looking forward to seeing it. However, I don't want people to think that Ratatouille is the reason I'm drawing rats. Cos it's not.

Hi there,
I like your drawings a lot!
Would you mind making me a design of a jumping rat for a tattoo above the ankle (male person)
If you want to do this, please send me an email: annelies_stienen@hotmail.com
Many thanks in advance,
Lies
I do like your drawings, i really do. I too am an artist, and i do have pet rats. I find them quite hard to draw tho, i can never observe a still rat, theyre always jumping around or trying to crawl out of their cage. But, im still trying. Hopefully, within the year of 2008, i will finally be able to draw rats as good as yours.
P.S.[for the person who wrote the first comment] im a tatoo artist, perhaps i can help you find what your looking for?
Hey can I use some of the ideas of the rat drawing for an idea of mine, I can not find a picture to look at so it would be a great help. :)
Hi Elena
It would depend on what you'd be using the drawings for. Copyright may be an issue.
